Ole Miss baseball was back in action Friday night as they opened their Oxford regional. The Rebels entered the Oxford Regional coming off a disappointing loss in the SEC Tourney Championship game against Vandy. Ole Miss was selected to host the Oxford regional as a No.12 national seed after a 4-2 showing in Hoover. The Rebels would face off against Jacksonville State in their regional opener.
Jacksonville State got on the board first with 1 run in the top of the first. The Rebels scored 2 runs in the bottom of the frame to take a 2-1 lead.
