Kansas State is looking for a new athletic director after its AD left for an SEC school. While one SEC AD has been rumored to be in the running for the job, that’s extremely unlikely to happen.
Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork, a Kansas native, is seen as a potential candidate for K-State. That school is seeking a replacement for John Currie, who left for Tennessee.
A source inside the SEC familiar with the situation tells GN that Bjork potentially leaving Ole Miss for Kansas State “makes some sense” but also is unlikely. A source at Ole Miss, meanwhile, calls the speculation “crazy.
