STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Morgan William scored 16 points, Chinwe Okorie added 14 and No. 10 Mississippi State beat Mississippi 79-51 on Monday night.

Mississippi State (17-2, 4-1 Southeastern Conference) bounced back from a road loss to Missouri on Thursday. The Bulldogs have won 12 of their past 13 games.

Mississippi State won mostly thanks to a tough defense. The Bulldogs gave up just eight points in the second quarter to turn a tight game into a 39-23 halftime advantage.

Ole Miss (9-9, 1-4) has lost four straight games, all by double digits. Shandricka Sessom scored 14 points to lead the Rebels, who shot just 33.
