OXFORD, Miss. – New Ole Miss offensive line coach Jack Bicknell Jr. says the Rebels’ camp has been a “whirlwind” for him. The good news is it hasn’t been for his players.
Ole Miss coach Matt Luke was rushed into the top job on an interim basis in late July after the forced resignation of Hugh Freeze.
He was glad to find someone of Bicknell’s experience to come aboard and coach the offensive line, the position group led by Luke for Freeze’s five seasons.
Bicknell was not new to football with 31 years of experience at the college and pro levels, but he was certainly new to Ole Miss.
