Memphis players walked the line at their media day Monday between saying the Ole Miss game doesn’t matter and calling it a “big” game.
They didn’t want to call it too big of a big game.
“How good the game was last year, it’s made things even better with the way things are going this year for both teams. It’s become a lot bigger game. It’s a great opportunity for both teams,” said Wynton McManis, a senior linebacker from Olive Branch.
McManis continued: “It’s the biggest game because it’s the next game. It’s another opportunity for us to go 1-0.
