LSU improved to 17-7 overall; 6-5 in the SEC, while Ole Miss dropped to 15-9 on the year; 4-7 in league play.
Senior Alexis Hyder and freshman Ayana Mitchell both posted double-doubles of 10 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Hyder also had two assists and a blocked shot. Mitchell was 8-of-12 from the free-throw line as the Lady Tigers were 28-of-40 from the line as a team. Both the 28 free throws and 40 attempts are highs for the season.
Raigyne Moncrief, who was in foul trouble through much of the second half led the Lady Tigers with 19 points.
