Ole Miss has been somewhat of a hot name for tight ends after Evan Engram blew up and was drafted by the New York Football Giants. Now, a former in-state product is coming back home to try and restore the legacy of the position. Former St. Stanislaus tight end and record-setting prospect Chase Rogers has announced that he will be leaving Louisiana and will be transferring to Ole Miss.
In two years at Louisiana, he has played in just 11 games, made eight catches for 85 yards and just one touchdown.
The 2017 recruit ultimately chose the Ragin’ Cajuns over offers from Cal, Colorado State, Memphis, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Troy, Tulane, UAB, UTSA, and Wake Forest among others.
