Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy likes where his Rebels are at 6-2. He’d rather be 8-0, but some defensive moves he made after the George Mason game — mostly put Anthony Perez at small forward — have gotten him the desired results.
Perez isn’t scoring consistently, but his length is really helping out against opposing guards. That was a big plus in the UMass game, Kennedy said.
Ole Miss is in finals this week and gets back on the floor Saturday at Southeast Missouri State which is led by former Mississippi State coach Rick Ray.
