Defensive end Jonathan Kongbo, the nation’s top junior college prospect, committed to Tennessee on National Signing Day, but he has yet to officially sign with the Vols.
Kongbo told SECCountry.com that he will turn in the paperwork soon. “My dad has been away,” Kongbo said. “He will sign it when he gets home.”
Other programs can recruit Kongbo until that happens, and Ole Miss, Florida State and USC have done so.
He has signed a financial aid agreement with Tennessee, which allows UT to publicly comment on Kongbo as a member of its 2016 signing class.
