Hugh Freeze turning Ole Miss into a power

Many thought the SEC’s on-field dominance was ending, but that idea proved false. And while the Tide will continue to be at the top of pyramid until Saban retires or moves on (or even thereafter), another program in the SEC West remains on the rise: Ole Miss.

Ole Miss has had back-to-back wins over the Crimson Tide. In 2014, though, after a 7-0 start, they fell flat at the end of the season and finished 9-4, including an embarrassing Peach Bowl loss to TCU. This past season, despite a 43-37 win in Tuscaloosa, Ole Miss had losses to Florida, Memphis and Arkansas.
