Lawrenceville, Ga., linebacker Donta Evans has committed to Ole Miss according to multiple reports.
Evans told Scout.com he actually committed right at the end of SEC Media Days (July 16) but has kept his decision private.
Evans (6-1, 222) is rated a three-star prospect by both Scout and Rivals.
Scout calls him the No. 40 inside linebacker, while Rivals calls him the No. 21 inside linebacker.
He is the 19th commitment for Ole Miss. The Rebels’ class of 2016 is currently ranked No. 5 by Scout and No. 6 by Rivals.
