Last season, the Ole Miss Rebels met Boise State in Atlanta in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game. It was a contest that kept the attention of the players through the summer.
This season, the Rebels host UT-Martin, an FCS opponent that hasn’t fared well against teams from the SEC, in the opener. Ole Miss is a large favorite, and as Freeze said, everyone has an idea of how the game is going to turn out.
“The mindset for me is I’m more anxious. You know what people’s perception of what this Saturday should be if we were to just be real with one another,” Freeze said.
