Four-star cornerback Shyheim Carter (Kentwood, LA) announced on his Twitter account (@sc5era_) that he has decommitted from the University of Alabama.
Carter committed to the Crimson Tide on July 15, 2014 but began to look around in the last couple months. He has made visits to numerous other schools, most notably Georgia and Ole Miss. Many of those following Carter’s recruitment have pegged Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss and Oregon as the most likely destinations for the cornerback, rated the No. 51 overall prospect in the country according to the 247 Composite.
There are currently three Crystal Balls for Ole Miss on Carter’s 247 profile, with two of them coming from Ole Miss insiders and the other coming from a Minnesota beat writer.
