Former Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace was arrested and charged Saturday night with driving under the influence.
Wallace was booked at 11:06 p.m. by the West Point (Miss.) Police Department. He was released just under two hours later at 1:16 a.m. Sunday morning on $813.50 bond, according to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
East Mississippi Community College coach Buddy Stephens told the Clarion-Ledger that Wallace – who was hired in January as quarterbacks coach at the school – said the accident was result of a prescription medication. He said Wallace took the medication during the day, then fell asleep and got into an accident after working at a youth camp.
