BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-- Eighth-ranked Florida won the 2017 SEC Women's Golf Championship Sunday with a three-day total of 22-under 842 here at Greystone's Legacy Course.
The Gators entered the day tied with a five-stroke lead and fired a final round 10-under 278 to claim their ninth SEC title and first since 2008. Florida also set a record for the lowest three-day SEC Championship total.
No. 1 Alabama (295-285-275-855) and No. 6 Georgia (287-282-286--855) tied for second, followed by No. 13 Arkansas (283-287-287-857), No. 20 Texas A&M (282-290-288-860), No. 11 South Carolina (286-290-284-860), Tennessee (287-286-290-863), LSU (294-292-287-873), Vanderbilt (287-302-293-882), Kentucky (291-296-298-885), Mississippi State (295-300-292-887), Missouri (302-295-292-889), Ole Miss (296-295-300-891) and Auburn (300-297-297-894).
