Vanderbilt (8-6, 0-2) at No. 22 South Carolina (14-0, 1-0)
I went out on a limb in the SEC Network studio this past week stating that Vanderbilt was close to turning the corner as a team despite dropping to 0-2 in conference play with what will likely be a bad resume loss at Arkansas. Here are three reasons for my glass-half-full mindset regarding Vanderbilt:
1. Damian Jones played with great passion and purpose at Arkansas. This is much less about a good stat line (24 points, 15 rebounds) and much more about his intensity, desire and will to win especially in the second half.
