BLOG: Ole Miss extends AD Bjork to four years

Ole Miss has agreed to a contract extension in principle with athletic director Ross Bjork, the school announced Friday.

Bjork’s contract was extended to the maximum four years allowed by Mississippi through 2019 at an annual base salary of $650,000 with $100,000 in academic and on-field performance incentives. Bjork is in his fourth year leading the athletic department after being hired away from Western Kentucky in 2012.

“I’m pleased to have a renewed commitment to Ole Miss from Ross,” Ole Miss Chancellor Dan Jones said in a statement. “All of us are grateful for his remarkable leadership, not only in athletics but far beyond.
