Ole Miss football piled up nearly 500 yards of offense in a 35-3 blowout of UL-Monroe on Saturday to improve to 9-2 and finish undefeated at home this season.
But the game didn’t have hardly any offensive fireworks in the first half as the Rebels (9-2, 5-2 SEC) were only up 7-3 at halftime. The Warhawks (2-9, 0-7 Sun Belt) forced a couple turnovers on downs that if converted would have meant sustained Ole Miss drives and scores.
Fortunately, the Rebels defense allowed only 258 yards, and ULM went 8 of 22 passing for a paltry 66 yards unable to find offensive balance.
