Ole Miss continues its recruiting successes in Georgia for 2016 with the signing of Chandler Tuitt, one of the Peach State's top offensive guards. Rated a three-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite, the 6'3", 294-pound prospect drew offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and Tennessee. His lone official visit was to Ole Miss this past January, which came roughly six months after he first committed to the program. Several schools, most notably Georgia, made a late push for Tuitt's pledge, but he held firm to the Rebels through National Signing Day.
Tuitt has had a longstanding pair of connections to Ole Miss in departing senior defensive back Mike Hilton and rising sophomore halfback Eric Swinney, both of whom played with Tuitt at Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Ga.
