The dead period might have been extended all the way to April, but the Ole Miss Rebels are still adding to its 2021 class. Lane Kiffin did just that today, adding three-star defensive tackle Taleeq Robbins.
The Philadelphia, Pa. native chose Kiffin over notable offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Baylor, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, South Carolina, Tennessee, Washington, and Wisconsin.
The Imhotep Institute prospect unofficially visited a few campuses on his own time during the COVID-19 shutdown and NCAA-enforced dead period and ultimately sided with the Rebels and co-defensive coordinator Chris Partridge. The Rebels’ assistant is a native of the Northeast and has been on Robbins extremely hard since being hired and getting to Oxford.
