After closing out the regular season with a 10-point win over the Vanderbilt Commodores, Kermit Davis and his staff stayed busy on the recruiting trail, adding a verbal pledge from Nick Krass. The 2022 prospect from Biloxi, Miss. recently concluded his junior season, suffering an overtime loss in the third round of the 2A Mississippi playoffs.
As a junior, Krass was a key cog for the Fighting Irish, averaging close to 20 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and three steals per game. Krass and St. Patrick finished the year with a 24-5 record.
Despite a light offer sheet and lack of overall interest nationally, the Rebels felt confident enough in their evaluation to submit an offer to Krass after seeing him do some ridiculous things on the court in 2020.
