MIDDLETON, Wis. -- The distinct sound of skates shredding ice are muffled in the upstairs office Ryan Suter shares with his brother at the rink named after their late father Bob.
It's early afternoon on a warm August day, and Suter already has logged a long skate on the ice below with teenage campers that hope to play for the Madison Capitols, a youth organization Suter and his younger brother Garrett have run since their dad died at 57 nearly a year ago.
In between morning and afternoon skates that Suter is using to get back into playing shape for the Wild, he has a few hours off.
