Wilderness Walk: World Champions Editions

Led by Carli Lloyd's hat trick, the USWNT raced out to an incredible start and kept on dominating as they won a record third Women's World Cup title. This was a particularly meaningful win for Abby Wambach, pictured above, who has played for the US since 2001, and won the Cup in her last appearance for the USA.

The US Women's National Team are World Cup Champions for the third time, defeating the defending champions Japan 5-3 in a dominating performance.

I know this is a "hockey blog" but this is a big deal.
