I was super thrilled to see the home team get shutout at the SAP Center today.
I am, of course, talking about Matt Hackett's shutout over the AHL's San Jose Barracuda. The former Wild goalie made 32 saves to lead the San Diego Gulls to victory. I asked a friend who was actually at the game if Hackett was impressive or if the Barracuda were flat, and she said the whole game was, and I quote, "pretty ¯_(u30c4)_/¯ tbh" which seems like a pretty fair summary of Matt Hackett as a concept.
Oh, also Darcy Kuemper got a shutout for the Wild?
