Arriving at the United Center with a nearly healthy roster, the Wild followed the lead of their Alternate Captain to capture the evening in Chicago, earning sweet redemption for a reeling team against their mortal enemy. Though they could not keep the red-hot Patrick Kane off the scoresheet, the Wild did everyone a favor and prevented hearing multiple choruses of the loathful Chelsea Dagger by clicking on defense and holding the Blackhawks to a single tally. To no one's surprise, NHL TOI leader Ryan Suter also played 29+ minutes and scored the game winner in the third period just a day after causing a stir amongst the Wild fan base with his dejected comments about being reunited with Jonas Brodin on the blue line.
