Wilderness Walk: HOF Coach Edition

Now starring as the shiny new coordinator of the once league-best penalty kill and stacked blue line of the Minnesota Wild - NHL Hall of Fame Defenseman Scott Stevens. Beyond his illustrious playing career, Stevens has also served not only as an NHL assistant coach, but once shared the "Co-Coach" title with one Adam Oates in New Jersey. This looks to be an excellent signing for a team looking for strong leaders to continue to maximize the results of the players on its roster and push toward bringing Lord Stanley's Cup to Minnesota. Stevens has a dazzling resume and is known as a defensive genius, and should infuse life into the Wild's best asset: it's young core of defenders, which may or may not be intact when the season begins.
