From April 20th to June 21st, news regarding the Minnesota Wild was few and far between. A signing here, a trade offer blocked there, and more Jason Zucker speculation than you could shake a King Clancy Memorial trophy at.
But now, the offseason really and truly has begun.
The Wild’s annual development camp started yesterday at Tria Rink, with most of Minnesota’s 2019 draft picks and other top prospects in attendance. The camp, which is open to the public each day, runs through Friday culminating in a 3-on-3 tournament.
Dave Schwartz of KARE 11 News was particularly impressed by first-round selection Matt Boldy on day one of camp:
