With the 2016 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ just over two weeks away, the Minnesota Wild announced today it will launch a NHL Stadium Series flag relay on Hockey Day Minnesota 2016 in Duluth, to celebrate and share the excitement for the upcoming event with fans across the State of Hockey.
As is customary at the start of all Minnesota Wild home games, a flag bearer skates the State of Hockey flag to center ice. In much the same way, a flag bearer in each of 10 selected communities will skate a specially-designed 2016 NHL Stadium Series State of Hockey flag to center ice before the respective teams take to the ice.
