Cannone, 29 (8/9/86), tallied 52 points (20-32=52) and 38 penalty minutes (PIM) in 73 games with the Chicago Wolves in the American Hockey League (AHL) last season. The Wolves captain led the team in scoring and assists and ranked second in goals. Cannone was named the 2016 AHL All-Star Game MVP after scoring three goals to help lead the Central Division to victory. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound native of Bayport, N.Y., owns 203 points (80-123=203), 147 penalty minutes (PIM) and a plus-54 rating in 349 career AHL games with Chicago and Binghamton. Cannone played four seasons at Miami University (2007-11) and recorded 133 points (45-88=133) and 83 PIM in 166 games.
