For the first time since playing in the Stanley Cup Final three years ago with Zach Parise and the New Jersey Devils, Ryan Carter was in the lineup for a playoff game Tuesday.
After sitting out the Wild's first eight postseason games this spring, Carter was inserted into the lineup for Game 3, taking Erik Haula's spot on the fourth line.
It was a roster change that coach Mike Yeo didn't unveil until a half hour before puck drop.
Carter was signed by the Wild a few days before the season opener and was a regular in the lineup until a shoulder injury in February.
