A couple of days after he underwent surgery that reattached the right side of his groin and fixed his lower abdomen, Wild forward Tyler Graovac was stuck on the toilet.
He was in a hotel in Philadelphia where the surgery took place and wasn't able to stand from his seated position. After two hours in the bathroom, he thought about calling the front desk of the hotel for help, before eventually pushing himself upright, a process that took two hours.
"Honestly," Graovac said.
On Thursday, 30 days after surgery, Graovac skated with Wild teammates as he inches toward his first NHL game since opening night.
