Wild report: Thursday's lineup will be prime time

DULUTH -- One week before they open the regular season against the Avalanche in Denver, the Wild play one final tune-up Thursday.

In the last of six preseason games, the Wild will play a lineup similar to the one they hope to open the season with when they host the Buffalo Sabres at Xcel Energy Center.

Their meaningless preseason record is 3-2. In many of those games, though, the Wild, like other teams, didn't use their full roster. Thursday will be different.

"We have to prepare for that like it's our first game and then build off that," defenseman Ryan Suter said.
