The Minnesota Wild has recalled forward Jordan Schroeder (pronounced SHRAY-duhr) from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) and reassigned goaltender Steve Michalek (pronounced MIKE-ah-lick) to Iowa.
Schroeder, 25 (9/29/90), has notched 34 points (14-20=34) in 40 games with Iowa this season including a point in his last four AHL games (3-1=4). He ranks T-1st on the team in power-play goals (5), second in assists, T-2nd in scoring and third in goals. Schroeder has tallied one goal in 15 games with Minnesota this season. The 5-foot-9, 184-pound native of Lakeville, Minn., owns 24 points (10-14=24) and a plus-2 rating in 96 career NHL contests with Vancouver and the Wild.
