Wild Recalls Schroeder From Iowa, Places Kuemper On Injured Reserve

The Minnesota Wild has recalled forward Jordan Schroeder (pronounced SHRAY-duhr) from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL). The team also announced goaltender Darcy Kuemper (pronounced KEHM-puhr) has been placed on Injured Reserve due to a concussion.

Schroeder, 25 (9/29/90), has tallied one goal in 11 games with Minnesota this season. He has notched 14 points (7-7=14) in 20 games with Iowa and ranks third on the team in goals. The 5-foot-9, 184-pound native of Lakeville, Minn., recorded eight points (3-5=8) and a plus-9 rating in 25 games with Minnesota last season and owns 24 points (10-14=24) and a plus-1 rating in 92 career NHL contests with Vancouver and the Wild.
