The Minnesota Wild has recalled defenseman Christian Folin (pronounced FOE-lin) from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) and reassigned forward Jordan Schroeder to Iowa.
Folin, 24 (2/9/91), has collected two assists and nine penalty minutes (PIM) in 14 games with Minnesota this season. He was assigned to Iowa on Nov. 28 and collected one goal and five shots on goal in two AHL games. The 6-foot-4, 219-pound native of Gothenburg, Sweden, owns 13 points (2-11=13), 22 PIM and a plus-7 rating in 55 career NHL contests with the Wild. He has tallied five points (3-2=5) in 15 career AHL contests with Iowa.
