When Kyle Brodziak walked into his home locker room and saw the giant St. Louis Blues logo on the carpet, it felt a bit weird.
After six seasons in Minnesota, where he was part of a budding rivalry between the new Central Division rivals, Brodziak signed a one-year deal with St. Louis this offseason -- not long after the Wild had knocked the Blues out of the playoffs.
Now, as the Wild welcome the Blues to St. Paul Saturday for their home opener, Brodziak has swapped roles with Chris Porter, the Wild's fourth-line forward who spent the past six seasons in the Blues organization, adding a new wrinkle to the rivalry.
