David Backes and T.J. Oshie, two top-line St. Louis Blues forwards with Minnesota ties, were kept quiet for most of the first-round series against the Minnesota Wild.
Their biggest goal was Sunday when Oshie scored with four seconds remaining in the second period of the Wild's series-clinching 4-1 win over St. Louis. Oshie's first goal of the series sliced Minnesota's lead to 2-1 heading into the second intermission.
"That is something that can be a back-breaker for your team," Wild coach Mike Yeo said. "I like the way we regrouped."
