SASKATOON, Saskatchewan -- Wild owner Craig Leipold left his team's regular season finale upset.
It was April 6, and in a game with plenty of playoff implications, the Winnipeg Jets had spoiled the festivities of the Wild's finale with a 2-0 win in St. Paul.
Adding insult to Minnesota's loss was the chant Wild fans had gotten too accustomed to.
"Go Jets go."
"Go Jets go."
In the two seasons since the Wild and Jets joined the Central Division, a rivalry has formed in part because Winnipeg fans have made a habit of flooding into Xcel Energy Center.
