THREE! Count 'em three times. The Wild scored three power play goals en route to a dominating 6-2 win on home ice against former Northwest Division rival Vancouver Canucks. Minnesota forechecked all night, forced turnovers from the Canucks in their own zone, and kept most of the Canucks' limited shots to the outside on the way to victory.
The Wild started a shooting gallery on Vancouver starter Ryan Miller early and often. In the first period alone Minnesota put 17 on goal. Darcy Kuemper looked to make saves with relative ease, as he saw the net in starting fashion after earning another chance with three solid goaltending performances last week on the road.
