Wild Assistant Coach Darryl Sydor Arrested for DWI; Child Endangerment

Darryl Sydor was arrested Thursday afternoon in Fridley for drunk driving. He failed multiple sobriety tests including a breath test of .30. What's even worse is that he was driving from his Woodbury home to bring his 12 year old son to a hockey game in Brooklyn Park.

Luckily, there was no injured. However, this does not excuse the terrible risk he put his child, other drivers, and himself in during the afternoon rush hour. For those not familiar with the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area, Woodbury lies to the east of St. Paul, while Brooklyn Park is north and slightly west of Minneapolis - a distance of nearly 30 miles.
