Wild aim to fix power play during preseason

Before the Wild took the ice for the start of training camp, coach Mike Yeo offered a caution to his team: be prepared to talk about the power play.

Despite plenty of top-end talent and players with prolific power-play pasts, the Wild finished with the fourth-worst man advantage unit in the league last season.

Somehow, a team with a top power play unit that carried a $34 million cap hit finished one spot behind the lowly Toronto Maple Leafs.

Now, as the Wild begin training camp with new ideas for power-play success, they're faced with the realization that the man-advantage unit will be closely scrutinized.
