The 6-foot-3, 215-pound native of Melfort, Sask., collected two assists in 18 games with the Washington Capitals and 19 points (4-15=19) and 56 PIM in 60 matches with the Hershey Bears in the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2013-14. He owns 20 points (1-19=20) and 199 PIM in 184 career NHL contests in parts of seven seasons (2008-15) with St. Louis, Florida, Washington and Buffalo.
