Wild Activates Graovac From Injured Reserve And Assigns Him To Iowa Wild

The Minnesota Wild has activated forward Tyler Graovac (pronounced GRAY-oh-vack) from Injured Reserve and assigned him to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Graovac, 22 (4/27/93), was injured in the Wild’s season-opening 5-4 win at Colorado on Oct. 8, winning 9-of-12 faceoffs and skated a career-high 13:37. The 6-foot-5, 212-pound native of Brampton, Ontario, underwent successful bilateral core muscle repair surgery on Nov. 3. He made his NHL debut with Minnesota on Dec. 29, 2014 and has skated in four career NHL contests. Graovac recorded 46 points (21-25=46) and 26 penalty minutes (PIM) in 73 games with Iowa last season.
