Christian Folin is one of the young players on the Wild who has established himself to a small degree, but will need to develop and progress more if he is going to become a useful NHL player. Among the best tools that he has in his arsenal is that he's an aggressive player who isn't afraid of unleashing physicality. He's also not afraid to shoot, which is a trait the Wild should find extremely valuable.
Prior to signing with the Wild, Christian Folin was one of the most highly touted college free agents at the conclusion of his 2013-14 season with UMass Lowell.
