The Wild Should Hang Onto Erik Haula and Darcy Kuemper

These two players had down years, but the Wild shouldn't be looking to offload them just yet.

According to the conventional wisdom, there was every reason to trade Jason Zucker last summer.

Ever since Zucker emerged as a sniper at Denver University, he's had the potential to be what he was last season. But even with that potential, Zucker's 2013-14 season was terrible. He shot the puck a lot, but with only three goals to show for it, all it did was earn him the "selfish" label as he provided horrendous defensive value. You didn't have to read too hard between the lines to figure out that the coaching staff wasn't enamored with his game, leading many to wonder if he would ever find his place on the Minnesota Wild.
