When the ’17-’18 regular season ends, Minnesota’s recent two-game road trip through various desert locations may very well be the reason that the Wild ends up making the playoffs. Now with just ten games remaining, coming home from Vegas and Arizona with four out of a possible four points will likely prove gigantic for the Wild’s playoff hopes and positioning when it’s all said and done.
Nobody is supposed to win in Vegas, but with Alex Stalock in net, the Wild did just that in impressive fashion Friday. On the flipside, everybody is supposed to win in Arizona, but this has proven difficult for the Wild this season.
