With the NHL Trade Deadline coming up at 3pm on Monday, the Vegas Golden Knights and Minnesota Wild are on different paths entering the final quarter of the regular season. The reigning Western Conference Champions are locked into third place in the Pacific Division and are waiting to find out which of Calgary or San Jose will be their first round opponent, while the Wild are in a battle with five clubs for a wildcard spot.
GM’s George McPhee and Paul Fenton are also facing different circumstances as the deadline approaches.
