Nashville hands Wild second straight shutout

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Devan Dubnyk sat on the ice, his giant leg pads stretched in front of him.

As the yellow-clad fans here sang a Tim McGraw song in celebration, Dubnyk looked left at a group of Predators hugging after their second goal of the night.

As he sat motionless, it was almost difficult not feel for the goalie, the team's lone all star.

Based on the Wild's anemic offense since the calendar flipped to 2016, it seems Dubnyk must play perfect if the Wild are to win. Saturday, the Wild's scoring struggles continued in unprecedented fashion for this season and the result was a 2-0 loss to a Central Division rival.
