It took a while, but the Wild decided to have some defensemen join their 2015 draft class. First, they selected Michigan commit Nick Boka in the 6th-round. Then with their first pick in the 7th-round, they grabbed Sault St. Marie Greyhound defenseman Gustav Bouramman.
Now that we know the pick, just who is this guy?
Bouramman is a quick, averaged sized defenceman who skates very well and is an excellent passer. Not overly physical but is a smart player. He fit in well on a deep Soo Greyhounds team and will look to be the top guy next season after the graduation of Darnell Nurse.
