The Wild have re-signed defenseman Christian Folin to a two-year contract worth $1.45 million.
Folin, 24, was a rookie last season and played in 40 NHL games, recording two goals and eight assists. He appeared in one of the team's 10 playoff games.
The Wild originally signed Folin in the spring of 2014 as a collegiate free agent after Folin played at UMass-Lowell.
Folin had been a restricted free agent with limited rights.
He'll likely begin training camp in September battling with former Gopher Mike Reilly as the sixth defenseman on the team.
